Mechanism of actionFluorinated FP-receptor agonist; uveoscleral outflow enhancement. The first preservative-free PGA in the US.
Indication / reason for useOpen-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension, particularly with ocular surface disease or BAK intolerance.
Usual adult dosing1 drop once daily in the evening (single-use vials).

Contact lensesPreservative-free, lower surface burden; still generally instilled with lenses out per label.
Common / important adverse effectsHyperemia, lash and pigment changes, periorbitopathy; less surface toxicity than preserved PGAs.
