Indication / reason for useOpen-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension.
Usual adult dosing1 drop once or twice daily.
PreservativeBAK 0.004%
Contact lensesRemove lenses; reinsert after 15 minutes.
Common / important adverse effectsSame systemic and ocular profile as timolol.
Contraindications & cautionsReactive airway disease, bradycardia, AV block, decompensated heart failure.
Pregnancy / lactationAs for beta-blockers generally.
