Mechanism of actionInhibits mast-cell degranulation; prophylactic, no intrinsic antihistamine effect.
Indication / reason for useVernal keratoconjunctivitis, giant papillary conjunctivitis, allergic keratoconjunctivitis.
Usual adult dosing1-2 drops in each eye 4-6×/day at regular intervals.
PreservativeBAK 0.01%
Contact lensesDo not wear lenses during treatment of significant allergic eye disease.
